Official opening of Kilkenny’s Medieval Mile Museum
Today, Tuesday April 4th at 12.15pm, Patrick O Donovan, Minister for Tourism and Sport officially opened Kilkenny’s Medieval Mile Museum by cutting a ribbon at the door of the former St Mary’s Church (St Mary’s Lane, Kilkenny). The Medieval Mile Museum, commissioned by Kilkenny County Council, represents an investment of €6.5 million, with significant assistance from Failte Ireland’s Capital Programme and additional funding from Kilkenny Civic Trust.
